Senior Community Service Employment Program
The Senior Community Service Employment
Program, often called Title V, offers part-time employment
training opportunities for low-income persons age 55 and older.
There are a limited number of employment slots available.
Placements are in public or non-profit agencies.

Michigan Rehabilitation Services
Michigan Rehabilitation Services
(MRS) helps Michigan residents with disabilities achieve
employment and self-sufficiency. MRS is part of a network of
vocational rehabilitation programs nationwide.
People with a wide range of disabilities are served by MRS. A
person with a disability may be eligible for MRS services if the
disability causes problems in preparing for, finding, or keeping
a job. The individual must also require vocational
rehabilitation services in order to work. For information or a

Ticket to Work Program
Ticket to Work is a voluntary
program that offers Social Security Administration (SSA)
disability beneficiaries greater choice in obtaining the support
and services they need to help them go to work and achieve their
employment goals. Participants must be age 18 or older and have
not reached age 65. Going to work while receiving Social
Security Disability benefits can be complicated. Ask questions –
it is important to know the facts. To find out if you are
eligible, contact the Ticket to Work Operations Support Manager
contracted by SSA.
